The Mitchelli Diet
Yesterday morning everything seemed great. I had a visit to the tailor in the diary for a fitting of a new suit and I had been looking forward to getting a new suit for some time. I have to be realistic, much of my wardrobe is off the rail (OTR), but I do try and get my suits from my tailor when finances allow. It had been a long 18 months since my last visit, but I wasn’t expecting any significant changes to my measurements. I hadn’t changed really changed much in my lifestyle and my infrequent visits to the bathroom scales had shown I was a constant 82kgs. Sure I was working a bit harder as I try and climb the corporate ladder, and later nights at work had meant a bit more convieniece food, but nothing major. Can you imagine my surprise when the conversation started to focus on drastically different body shape! I had lost two inches from my chest and gained the on my belly!
This is outragous! I would have noticed, my trousers still fit! Surely there is some mistake? This prompted a 20 minute conversation about stretched waist bands punctuated with “The tape measure never lies”. Disappointed, I decided not to continue with the fitting and have given myself a 12 week target to lose the extra inches off my waist.
So what next? Well sharing my progress with you guys will keep me motivated! And so to the diet. Well I have never done dieting, they have always made me think I would be missing out on the things I love to eat, and that is no way to keep me motivated. In my head, all a diet needs to be is ‘do a bit more , eat a bit less’ , but I don’t think that will really shift these surplass inches in my 12 week time frame. No, this needs a special diet – The Mitchelli diet. I have no idea what this is yet, or what will actually work for me – but I will share it with you. After all, everyone needs a make over every once in a while – even The Mitchelli

Absolutely love the whole site, it’s just brilliant!!
I remember in your ’12 Steps To Style’ that chapter one was ‘Dress For Today’ or specifically for the body you have today. Is it because you already have style that this does not apply?
Keep up the great work and best of luck with the diet. I look forward to the future posts.
cheers john
