Henri Lloyd has for a long time had a reputation as a creator of high quality sailing wear from water proof jackets to amazing deckwear. The latest range of casual clothes are great to wear anywhere and are not just for the marina or on your yacht.
On a recent quest to buy some shorts in preparation for my summer holiday, I thought I would check out the latest offerings from British heritage label Henri Lloyd. A quick look at their website and I had quickly found the ideal pair of Dunure shorts in burgundy. Since I was on the site I thought I would take a nose around to see any new items from their other ranges.
It was here I found the SS11 range of knitwear. A combination of the latest ‘preppy’ V-neck cardigans, classic HL ‘nautical’ jumpers and traditional polo shirts.
I have no issues in buying online, but I really wanted to go in store to look at the knitwear first hand. I’m glad I did as the pictures do not do justice to these garments. Quality is first rate, and the fit was excellent. Any of these would make an excellent addition to your wardrobe.
V-neck Cardigans are made of a soft cotton and cashmere blend and feature a cable pattern and external contrast tipping along the front placket. The cable knit jumper is a classic nautical style brought up to date which comes in white and navy.
For that timeless Mod look, the new Henri Lloyd polo’s will look great with a pair of vintage 501’s and are available in bright red and navy with contrast collar and placket.
With retail prices starting at £72 the Henri Lloyd SS11 knitwear is available to buy from the brand’s standalones, selected stockists nationwide and online from www.henrilloyd.com.
